This course aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of employment law/labour Law, the importance and the history of employment law, and also to teach you the major Employment Law UK, such as the Health and Safety at Work Act, the Employment Rights Act 1996, the Equality Act 2010, Business Law etc. There will also be a discussion on what policies businesses should have in place to maintain a safe workplace.
This UK Employment Law & Recruitment Course is focused on labour law will also cover the recruitment process and how to make sure you get each stage of the selection process correct as part of the process. You will better understand working arrangements and employee entitlements to leave.
On the other hand, the course will expose you to workplace dispute resolution, discipline, and grievance procedures. In addition, after reviewing the ACAS Code of Practice, you will be introduced to the disciplinary and grievance procedures that workplaces must follow at a minimum. It will also allow you to gain a deeper understanding of recruitment, hiring, talent management, employee terminations, pensions, and the legal requirements for each to protect your employees’ rights.
Furthermore, the course will provide a clear understanding of “Collective Rights”, a legal definition of trade unions, the intricacies of collective bargaining, and how to navigate industrial actions more effectively. Lastly, the “Termination of Employment section” of the guide gives insights into the proper procedures that should be followed when terminating employment, including wrongful, unfair, and constructive dismissals and the role that ACAS arbitrations will play during the process.
