Google merchant center account is required to run your google shopping ads, It works like a middleman between your website and your Google ads account, we also use GMC to create :

• Enable dynamic remarketing

Adding products to your merchant center account is a very important step, in fact, your MCA is useless with a products feed, so basically, you can add your products in 2 ways :

• Manual : using Google Sheet or using manual product creation page

• Automatic : using content API which is usually a plugin like the two I mentioned in the video

Google merchant center users are required to have 4 specific pages in order to get their account confirmed and verified :

• Privacy Policy

• Terms of services

• Cancellation policy

• Return Policy

IMPORTANT : make sure to have the same exact information on both your GMC account and website pages, same delivery fees, same return policy, same everything.

GMC has multiple programs, and the more you have enabled the better, as mentioned in the video, these programs will enhance how your products are shown on Google, so make sure to have these enabled :

• Dynamic remarketing (for more dynamic remarketing)

• Fee product listing (for organic sales every now and then)

• Product ratings (for trust and credibility)

• Promotions (improve your CTR)

Keep in mind that your product page is what really encourages people to buy your product, so focus on the following factors to get the best conversion rate :

• a clean + responsive design

• trust factors

• clear CTA button

• as many pictures as possible (compressed & resized of course)

• a very detailed description with bullet points of WHY you should buy the product

• a product video

• specifications and features

• dimensions and weight

• Clean HTML : H1 tag = for titles, P tag for descriptions with H3 for sub-titles

Now, Keywords are what this course is really about, dont forget that Google is a search engine by the end of the day, and people type-in keywords to find what they are looking for, so basically what we will do is find those keywords using ahrefs.

As mentioned above, try to create your keywords list yourself or get in contact with me and I will build it for you, but the important part is, you need to cover every single keyword with the potential of getting you a sale.

Using your keywords, choose the right keywords for every product, then do the following :

1. Add your main product keyword in the title starting from the left side

2. Add your main product keyword twice in your product description

3. Add your secondary keywords in your product descriptions as H3 or questions

4. Add your main & secondary keywords in your images alt attributes

5. add your main keyword in product URL + Page Title + Page meta description
