What is Usability Testing?

Remote testing
Remote testing method is useful when it is not possible to meet your representative users as participant of test. This is also the most preferred method now a days, when everyone prefers doing everything from the comfort of their homes.

Panel testing
Depending on the goal of the test, not always a facilitator is needed. Many a times, giving the test to the users for testing the product in their own time is just enough.

When it is possible and beneficial to meet to look through the shoulder of your participant while they're able to perform the test.

The traditional way of testing usability of products is testing in a usability lab with dedication equipments and infrastructure.
