IBM Cloud Architecture Practice Tests Certification 2021

Foundations of IBM Cloud is a technical certification exam targeted to individuals that are seeking to test their foundational knowledge of IBM Cloud. Candidates will need to demonstrate their basic skills on the infrastructure, network, compute, development, deployment, and the operational capabilities of IBM Cloud. They will also need an understanding of IBM’s essential Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings such as middleware, databases, and Watson Services. In addition, the exam will also test the certification earner on the basics of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. An IBM Certified Solution Architect – Cloud Solution Architecture is a person who can design, plan and architect a Cloud Solution. They can do this with limited assistance from support, documentation, and/or relevant subject matter experts.

Key areas of competency include:

Demonstrate knowledge of Cloud concepts and architectural principles

Ability to evaluate customers current state and architect a Cloud solution

Provide solution recommendations based on current industry best practices

Recommended Prerequisite Skills:

Basic knowledge of industry cloud principles

Basic knowledge of defining IT architectures and Cloud solution patterns

Working knowledge of IBM Cloud Service Management architecture

Working knowledge of IBM Cloud architecture principles and patterns

Working knowledge of designing a comprehensive IBM Cloud solution

Working knowledge of how to implement IBM Cloud Infrastructure concepts

Working knowledge of the various types of clouds and -as a service- offerings

Working knowledge of the cloud infrastructure technologies: systems, storage, security, networking, virtualization technologies, etc. (functional and non-functional requirements)
