Structural Masonry with ETABS 17.0.1
The course consists of the advanced theoretical and practical development of Structural Masonry Walls. Everything related to the regulations will be explained in detail: Regulation for Design and Construction of Buildings in Structural Masonry R-027.

The example prescribed by the aforementioned regulations will be developed, with the intention that the participant deeply understands the philosophy of the R-027 standard, all of the latter through an Excel table that will be provided to the participant.
In addition, the phenomenon of (Short column effect) will be explained where we will see that this phenomenon is applied in Masonry Walls and has to be handled with great caution in projects.
Two steel area allocation methods will be explained in the most advanced software on the market in ETABS 17.0.1 Structural Calculation, where the results of the software will be verified manually.
The solution to the torsion of beams that connect Structural Masonry Walls will be presented
With all these concepts in mind the participants will be able to start a project with the Structural Masonry Methodology

Module 3
R-001 Excel Design Spectrum, R-001 ETABS Design Spectrum, Discretionary Earthquake X and Y Combinations, Masonry Wall Drawing, Rigid Diaphragm, Rigidity Center Correction.
Module 4
Center of Stiffness Correction, Wall Capacity Demand, Static Vs Dynamic Cut, Drift Calculation, Floor Slab Mesh, Dead Load Adjustment.
Module 5
Diaphragm and Participatory Mass Correction, Drawing of Foundations, Meshing of Walls, Meshing of Foundations, Allocation of Ground Foundations, Meshing of Ceiling.
Module 6
Ceiling Mesh, Modal Analysis and Basal Cut, Dead Load Reduction, Failure Correction in Walls, ETABS Edge Member.
Module 7
Design by cut in Wall, Optimize the Wall, Detailed Wall, Design of Wall, Designer of Sections, Design of Beam, Design of Foundations.
