This lesson lifts the lid on Crypto Mining and explains not only what Mining is but looks at how Mining is performed and why it is needed. After this lesson and the proceeding lessons on Blockchains and Decentralisation  Students will have a solid grasp of the core principles behind every Cryptocurrency in existence today.

This lesson is an introduction to Cryptography which is used by Cryptocurrencies to protect the data involved in every crypto transaction. Whilst a working knowledge of Cryptography is not necessary to participate in the cryptocurrency space having a broad understanding of the concept is helpful as Students will find once they complete this lesson.

A Crypto Wallet is an essential tool for anyone who wishes to utilise cryptocurrencies. In this lesson we outline the purpose of Crypto Wallets, we look at the various types of wallet available and we discuss the core considerations and best practices Students should adhere to when choosing and using Crypto Wallets.

We look back  at the section and address any concerns students may have as they move past this introduction into more specific areas of Cryptocurrency. We talk about the learning curve and how it is expected to not perfectly understand every item that has been discussed by this point.  We reinforce the point that the Student has lots of support to ask question and get answers as they progress through the course and how they may need to revisit some concepts more than once in order to achieve a mastery of each.

An introduction and overview of the Cryptocurrency Market. We look at the major Crypto Coins and Tokens available today and introduce the students to several resources they can use to get quality information about the various cryptocurrencies being traded worldwide.

We introduce the student to some different genres of Cryptocurrency and discuss what they are, why they were developed and what we use them for. After this lesson Students will understand and be able to intelligently discuss the various types of cryptocurrency on the market today.

We introduce the Student to the extremely popular world of NFT's. We look at what an NFT is, what they are used for as well as what they may be used for in the future and we discuss several important technical and legal misconceptions about NFTs that many Crypto Users have so the Student can avoid any possible issues when purchasing and trading NFTs (should they wish to).

We discuss the concept of Forking as it applies to Cryptocurrency projects so the Student can grasp why so many similar projects can be found in the cryptocurrency space.

An introduction to the very important concept of Crypto Networks which is a concept we will return to multiple times during this course.  Having a solid grasp of why different networks exist, how we can connect to each and move assets safely between them is essential. In this lesson we introduce the Crypto Network concept so we can build on this knowledge later in the course.

Welcome to section three where we look at how to buy, sell and send Cryptocurrency. We discuss the various options available to you and look in detail at the advantages and disadvantages of each. We continue to discuss best practice and look at some of the relevant crypto Scams you may encounter and how you can avoid them.

After this lesson Students will understand the different types of Cryptocurrency Wallet, where they can get their own wallets and have a detailed understanding of the functionality of Crypto Wallets.

After this lesson students will have their own Cryptocurrency Wallet installed on their computers and will understand how to ensure their wallet is backed up and secure.

In this lesson we look at a popular crypto scam which targets  Cryptocurrency Wallets and we discuss in detail how Students can ensure that they never fall foul of this particular threat.

In this lesson Students will work along with me as we use their newly installed Cryptocurrency Wallet to send their first ever Crypto Transaction, and this transfer will cost nothing at all.

After this lesson Students will know where they can obtain their choice of Bitcoin Wallet in the event they wish to purchase Bitcoin at any time in the immediate future.

In this lesson Students will learn to develop the best practice of sending Test Transactions whenever they need to send a crypto transfer
